1 . STARFISH Workshop 2 . Starfish Introduction (PowerPoint) 3 . STARFISH Help - Reference Manual

Starfish Workshop

As a result of numerous projects, carried out in collaboration with cotton circular knitted fabric manufacturers and processors around the world, a large body of know-how was acquired, and It formed the basis for the Starfish Technical Help manual and Training Workshops. The Workshop was delivered as a series of PowerPoint presentations and each delegate was provided with a printed manual, a copy of the PowerPoint slides, and a set of handouts. These can be accessed by clicking in the appropriate boxes in the table below. Obviously, if you wish to view the PowerPoint presentations, then you will need to download the PowerPoint Viewer from Microsoft. Back to Top

Starfish Help

The Starfish program is provided with a comprehensive Help system. This Help system is not only to show how the program is constructed and how to get the best out of it, but also contains a comprehensive Reference Section with a great deal of information on the basic (and advanced) technology of cotton knitted fabric manufacture, processing, and quality assurance. Obviously, there is a good deal of overlap between the Training Course Workshops and the Starfish Help, but the approach is different and there are a few extra bits in the Help. The Help system was written in a form (WinHelp) which Microsoft no longer supports, but the most important parts of the text have been converted to PDF and these can be accessed here. 1 .
